True Inspirational story 1

It never ceases to amaze me how a person receives what they need, just at the right time in their life and how that guidance comes in many different forms, but is like a jigsaw puzzle and they receive one piece of the puzzle at a time.

I would like to share with you something that happened to me about fourteen years ago.

I went with my husband to see Stephen O'Brien at a theatre in Oldham, now this was only the second medium I had ever seen and as it was a large venue I wanted moral support from my husband so I dragged him along .For a number of years prior to this I had been reading numerous books written by Doris Stokes and my mind was full of questions that no one seemed to be able to answer. Anyway getting back to the story, I was totally engrossed while watching Stephen and I use his first name because he had the ability to make you feel that you were the only person present in the hall. A number of times I glanced over at my husband and he had his chin resting on his hand staring at the stage and I thought [he's not enjoying it] I couldn't have been more wrong as I discovered afterwards because he had enjoyed it a great deal. During the interval I noticed there was a selection of books and tapes available near the stage and I went over to have a look.

After spending a few minutes browsing I decided to purchase a book because it felt right and I took it back to my seat, however during the second half of the demonstration I decided I had made a mistake that I really should have bought a tape and decided I would go back afterwards and ask to exchange it, so I settled down and listened to the inspirational words, thoroughly enjoying every moment.

You've guessed it, when I went back all the tapes had gone, so I was really frustrated with myself. However I decided that I would trawl the book shops as I was sure I would get one, but I didn't, when I asked in the shops they looked at me quite strangely and shook their heads obviously not knowing what I was talking about, so I resigned myself to the fact I couldn't find one and I forgot about it.

The months had passed when one of my work colleagues came into work looking quite flustered, she proceeded to explain to me that she had got on her usual bus and sitting at the back of the bus was a man whom she described as a North American Indian wearing western dress He had the most piercing eyes she had ever seen and the only seats available were facing him so she went and sat down.

This man proceeded to took at her and she was feeling a little uncomfortable when after a few minutes he leaned towards her and asked her what her views on spiritualism were. Initially she was very surprised as you would be, but she eventually said "well really I don't know, I have a lot of questions however my friend is really interested in spiritualism and she's been seeking answers", and proceeded to talk about me. She was so taken aback that it was more comfortable to do this because I wasn't there. She said to me "You don't normally get that on a 206 bus, do you".

When the time came for her to leave the bus he touch her arm reached into the inside pocket of his jacket and produced a tape and placed it in her hand and told her "This will answer all the questions you are both seeking give it to your friend."

My friend passed me the tape and said, "This is really spooky I don't want to listen to the tape you take it home." Which I promptly did and as I placed the tape into my cassette, that's right you've guessed it, it was the copy of Stephen O'Brien's tape that I been searching for and the B side of the tape had all the questions to the answers I had been asking.

About a month after this I had a private reading and the medium came to my home and during the session he leaned towards me and said, "The spirit world are very pleased you enjoyed the tape they sent you and that it answered many of your questions, it is now up to you to help and answer questions for others".

This was the start of my spiritual training and quest for spiritual knowledge.
