Creative Visualization

It is helpful to use this technique to create positive changes within your life. There are many times when we become stuck, and, as the saying goes can't see wood for trees. We know we need to be more proactive and forward thinking; however it is difficult to know where to start.

This is where creative visualization comes in, and the opening sentence says it all.

In order to create change you need to visualize the scenario of what you want to happen in your mind, and create a beginning, middle and end.

Here is an example.
You have applied for a job, your past experiences are that during the interview you are very nervous and don't answer the questions as well as you know you can, ultimately you do not get the job.

Now imagine/visualize you have applied for a job for which you know you have the skills and abilities to do. Visualize, a letter being posted through your letterbox inviting you to attend for an interview. The next stage is to visualize yourself being interviewed, you look and feel great, you are feeling really confident, you understand everything the interviewer is saying and you are able to answer the questions fully, as though you already knew what they was going to say, before they said it.

Next visualize yourself receiving either a telephone call offering you the job, or a job offer through the post.

This technique can be achieved with anything, moving house, loosing weight or just giving you the confidence to deal with a difficult situation. Enjoy using it.
